In a region that the US news continues to describe as almost hopeless, there is a dawn of a new awareness of the needs of people that need the Lord. In places like Iraq and other neighboring countries Christians are courageously holding to the promise of the Lord that He will honor His Word and He will uphold those who call upon His name.
IMI continues to partner with the church in the Middle East as they seek to re-establish the Christ following Church in the Lands from which the World has been touched by Christ-Followers of the Early Church. In the Biblical cites of Damascus, Nineveh, Babylon, Nazareth, and the regions of ancient Egypt, Moab and Edom, the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ is once again being lifted up in Song and Prayer. Each Sunday the message of the Word of God goes out in Arabic, as the Holy Spirit reaches the other children of Abraham as He is faithful in His promise of salvation to them as well.
