INDIA – Emerging superpower with a harvest field
Indigenous Ministries International ministers in India with a focus on church planting and pastoral training. Since 1997, over 190 churches have come into existence through partnering relationships with new and existing works in India. With a long-term goal of building self-sustaining ministries, IMI brings new and fresh ways of building into these expanding works.
IMI believes that reaching into a community also means working within that area to build up and bless leadership as well as the villages. Medical clinics, disaster relief efforts, involvement with community education and business development are some key areas of partnership. IMI is providing care and training for young people through Bible College and widow’s home ministries.
With a growing population of 1.1 billion and a technological transformation of global proportions, the beauty and glory of India is stunning and yet there are still many areas with great need.
India is a country with five thousand years of recorded history and a landscape of diverse and complex scenery, so it is not surprising to find that people here reflect the rich glories of the past and the culture, traditions and values. IMI is privileged to witness this beauty and richness and together, build a stronger future with India.
THE MIDDLE EAST – Building relationships for a strong future
Since the end of hostilities of Gulf War II, IMI has been in Iraq building relationships and partnering in ministry as well as in the greater Middle Eastern region. Despite unique challenges, the Church is encouraged and growing in faith through prayers and encouragement.
Please pray for this area of the world as God continues to show Himself mighty to those who seek Him in truth.
INDONESIA – Hungry for faith
IMI is involved in ministering in Indonesia, the largest Islamic country in the world – partnering and building relationships with Indigenous believers. Economically depressed areas provide opportunities to assist in micro-business development loans and projects.
Church planting, pastoral training, and child sponsorship opportunities are other areas IMI is making an impact in this gracious and beautiful country.
