IMI partners with a team of dedicated Indian nationals. Within the team are 12 church planters. They are responsible to first establish relationships with the village elders, then assist in humanitarian needs and finally build the foundation of a new Church Body.
Once all three steps are taken, IMI partners with the existing church to help in the purchase of land and the construction of the church building, and sometimes the pastor’s home.
The target is to see the churches become self-supporting within their own communities. One of the ways IMI is helping to see this accomplished is through micro-business loans within the church body.
Each pastor/church planter ministers in five to fifteen villages and conducts evangelism ministry and Bible Studies. IMI is currently involved in 39 villages in Central India developing friendships and sharing the Love of Christ one person at a time.
